Election charts and data for your reporting
Every chart on wahlergebnisse.io can be embedded as a widget, downloaded as an image or reused as a dataset. Free, no registration, updates automatically. The only condition: a link to the source.
What you can use
- Polls, seats, coalitions, trend
For the federal level, every state and the European election. Under every chart there is an “Embed” button with ready-made code, light or dark.
- Election maps
Germany, every state with its districts, every district with its municipalities; strongest party with percentage, tappable.
- Results on the ground
2025 federal election in around 11,000 municipalities, 401 districts and 299 constituencies, each as a bar chart with a comparison to the state.
- Images for social media
Square, portrait and landscape, with source line, under every chart via “Instagram” and “Story / TikTok”.
- Data
Polls, averages, seats, probabilities and official results as JSON and CSV, CORS enabled.
- Original analysis
Pollster accuracy, house effects, polling error by distance to the election, strongholds, urban-rural divide. Citable with date and link.
What a widget looks like in an article
The code for the federal polling chart. For every other chart you will find the matching code beneath the chart itself.

You will find your municipality's key via the place search in the address of the municipality page.
Licence and attribution
Use is free of charge, including for commercial purposes. Please leave the source link beneath the widget, or credit “wahlergebnisse.io” with a link when using images and figures. The “Cite” button under every chart copies a ready-made citation with date.
Licence chain: polls from the dawum.de database (Open Database License), official results from the Federal Returning Officer and the state returning officers (Data licence Germany, attribution 2.0), geodata from the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy, European polls from Wikipedia tables (CC BY-SA 4.0). Averages, seat distributions, probabilities and analyses are our own calculations, described under Method.
Please don't: present charts as your own without a source, cite figures without a date, or market the widget behind a paywall as exclusive.
